Back 'em Up and Hit 'em Again!

The Demolition Derby has become a community wide fun family event. Children and adults pack the backfield of the Fairgrounds to cheer for their favorite driver.  The crowd's adrenaline is pumping as much as the drivers as we all watch the cars smash, bash, burst and blow!  You never know who will make it out of each round or who will be the final hero of the night during the last round.  This year will be Warren County Fair's biggest year yet!

RULES AND OBLIGATIONS

The Warren County Fair Motor Sports Demolition Derby is promoted as an unusual spectator attraction.  In the interest of safety, Drivers and Mechanics are subject to, and must obey, the following rules and regulations which are set up by the promoter and the track where this event is being held:

  1. Each driver must fill out an entry blank.  All drivers must supply their own cars, only one entry per person per class.  Proof of ownership may be required on each car entered.
  1. All drivers and/or pit persons 16 or 17 years of age must have a notarized release signed by his or her parent or guardian.  No one under 16 years of age can drive or be in the area.
  1. The track or promoter reserves the right to approve or reject any and all entries.
  1. All persons must sign the release sheet and receive a pit pass to be permitted in the pit area or on the track.  Drivers only to receive free pit pass upon registration of a car on day of the show.  All other pit passes are $10 each unless noted.
  1. No drinking of alcoholic beverages on track, emergency vehicle area or in the pit area.  Any driver or pit person under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be immediately disqualified and removed from the grounds.
  1. Any driver or crew member disobeying the rules will cause his or her car to be disqualified.  Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated and will be grounds for disqualification and barring from future derbies.  Drivers are responsible for the actions of their crew members.
  1. Contestants of the Warren County Fair Motor Sports Demolition Derby are not employees of Warren County Fair Motor Sports Demolition Derby.  Warren County Fair Motor Sports Demolition Derby will not be responsible for any damage caused by driver’s negligence on the track or in the pit area.  “Drivers and pit personnel are responsible for any damage caused by their negligence on the track or in the pit area”.
  1. The Promoter, track owner or Fair Association will not be held responsible for any cars, parts or personal property before, during and after the show or overnight.
  1. Car and Driver must sign in at registration desk at least one hour prior to show time or a $10.00 fine will be imposed for late arrivals.

Management of the Warren County Fair Demolition Derby

The rules and / or regulations set forth herein are designed to provide for the orderly conduct of racing events and to establish minimum acceptable requirements for such events.  These rules shall govern the condition of all events, and by participating in these events, all participants are deemed to have complied with these rules.  NO EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM PUBLICATIONS OF OR COMPLIANCE WITH THESE RULES AND/OR REGULATIONS.  They are intended as a guide for the conduct of the sport and are in no way a guarantee against injury or death to a participant, spectator or official.    

The race director will be empowered to permit reasonable and appropriate deviation from any of the specifications herein or impose any further restrictions that is in his/her opinion does not alter the minimum acceptable requirements.  No expressed or implied warranty of safety shall result from such alteration of specifications.  Any interpretation or deviation of these rules is left to the discretion of the officials.  Their decision is final.

SAFETY RULES

  1. You must have a full face helmet, DOT approved.
  2. You must have a working seat belt.
  3. You must wear long pants, no shorts.

DRIVING RULES

  1. You must make contact every 60 seconds.  You must give not receive.
  2. Do not hit the driver’s door. 
  3. Sandbaggers will be disqualified.
  4. Red Flags mean STOP, someone is hurt or there is a fire.  PAY ATTENTION.
  5. The last car to make a hit will be deemed the winner.  Official’s decision is final.                                                                   

Monday Night Demo Derby Rules

Gut & Go Compact Rules

4 & 6 CYl

*This is stock build with NO modifications. Anything that not listed in the rules below I wouldn’t recommend doing.

GENERAL

  1. FRONT WHEEL DRIVE CARS ONLY
  2. Wheelbase MAX is 110.5
  3. All Drivers MUST attend Drivers Meeting
  4. Drivers ONLY allowed in the inspection
  5. CARS THAT HAVE FAILED TECH ON THE FIRST TRY WILL ONLY GET ONE MORE CHANCE TO PASS ON TECH!!! IF YOU FAIL A SECOND TIME YOU WILL NOT RUN AND MONEY WILL NOT BE REFOUNDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6.  All cars MUST be completely strip/ gutted of all plastic and glass and interior, also must be vacuum cleaned don’t want broken glass inside 
  7. All Cars must have a roof sign
  8. Must have working brakes at all times or the car DOESN’T Compete
  9. Safety – DOT or Snell helmet , Must wear EYE protection, Pants and Long sleeves. If helmet comes off during the event you will be DISQUALIFIED!!!!!!
  10. You will have two times threw tech if on your second attempt you did not meet satisfaction to what the inspectors wanted you will be loaded and no refund will be issued ( as our job of inspections we will make sure it is clear and understandable of what we want done so there shouldn’t be any questions or miss understanding)
  11. We will be teching cars Friday 4-8 pm and tech Saturday morning at 8am
  12.  All cars must be threw first round inspection by 2:00 pm no exceptions

      Inspection will close at 3:00 no exceptions ( so if you plan to weld a lot then and go over the rules be sure you plan to tech early be responsible)

  1. Cars that pass Friday night will be impounded until 8 am Saturday after they are released they will go straight to the line up ( if you fail to do so you will be required to go through tech all over)
  2. Drivers only in tech no one else is allowed   ( we will give you a piece of paper with everything written down for you to take back with you to show your crew) must have paper with you for re tech
  3. After your heat if you make it to finals or consi you will be allowed 9 wire only to fix your cars only thing that can be welded back on is your bumper if it falls off
  4. All rules are to the interpretation to the officials ( if unsure of a rules call or text to get clarification so you understand what we want)
  5. All judge’s decision are final

ALL OFFICAILS DECISIONS ARE FINALLY

THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO RECHECK YOUR CAR AT ANY TIME THEY FIND SOMETHING ADD OR REWELDED AFTER THE INSPECTIONS YOU WILL BE ASK TO LOAD UP A LEAVE WITH NO REFUND OF THE EVENT

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

  1. Any 4cyl or 6cyl engine..   NO PROTECTORS
  2. Motor and Transmission mounts MUST be stock!!!!! Must run factory mounts that came with that year and make car
  3. Radiator must remain in stock location….. you may choose to either ran one, loop lines, or no radiator…… No water barrels

BUMPERS

  1. MUST BE FACTORY OEM BUMPER THAT CAME ON THE MAKE AND MODLE YOU ARE RUNNING
  2. NO WELDING OF ANYKIND

FRAMES

  1. REMAINS STOCK
  2. NO WELDING THE K FRAMES TO THE BODY
  3. NO Seam Welding
  4. PRE RUN CARS CAN NOT HAVE ANY FIXA PLATES!!!
  5. Body mount Must remain Stock
  6. No Pinning, Plating or Pinching
  7. Rear Frames maybe be notched or dimpled

SUSPENSION

  1. OEM suspension parts NO reinforcing or adding. NO AFTERMARKET
  2. ALL CARS MUST HAVE BOUNCE FRONT AND REAR

CAGES

  1. Four point cage with halo bar is recommended but

NOT mandatory

  1. MUST have a bar be hide the Driver seat
  2. MUST have ONE FRONT Window bar, cable, or nine wire
  3. MAX width of cage bars are 4”x4” or 2”x6” door bars can not extend back more than 8” on front door seam
  4. MUST be 5” from fire wall and floor
  5. 24” Gas Tank Protector…… IT MAY TOUCH SPEAKER DECK BUT CAN NOT BE WELDED OR BOLTED
  6. NO down legs or kickers
  7. If you run a bolt in cage and it has down legs to bolt to the floor you must have a 1 inch gap between the floor and the leg
  8.  Back Window bar MAX 2”x2” mounted by 3” on roof and 3” on trunk lid

BODY

  1. Drivers door May be welded with 4 pieces of 3”x3” door strapping 
  2. All other doors are to be chained or nine wired max 6 places
  3. Trunk must be nine wire or chain max 6 places
  4. Hood can be fasten down in 6 spots with chain, nine wire
  5. Hood MUST have a 12”x12” hole
  6. ONE BATTERY can be used Must be located inside the car

 

  1. Gas tanks or Fuel cells inside the car MUST have two clamps on all fuel lines from the tank and Fuel pump
  2. You may run stock tank under the car but MUST be in front of rear axle and MUST HAVE A METAL SKID PLATE ADD TO IT

Gas tanks or Fuel cells inside the car MUST have two clamps on all fuel lines from the tank and Fuel pump

TIRES & WHEELS

  1. Front tires – ANY TIRE on STOCK WHEELS
  2. Rear tires – Can run Solid fork lift or donuts
  3. NO STUDDED TIRES
  4. NO CENTERS added, or BEADLOCKS OR LIP PROTECORS 
  5. ALL WHEEL WEIGHTS MUCH BE REMOVED

2023  Full Size Motor Swap 

MOTOR SWAP CLASS RULE UPDATE
YOU WILL BE ALLOWED A LOWER CRADLE ONLY NO PULLEY PROCTOR 
AND YOU CAN USE A SLIDER DRIVE SHAFT

General rules/ car preparations

  1.  Any year car permitted except for the following no Chrysler imperials (full framers or subframes and no you can not put a imp sub under other Chrysler’s products ) hearse,limos will be permitted to run 
  2. Cars  Must be complete stripped clean no trim interior or any other flammable materials must be removed prior to the show 
  3. All glass must be removed and swept clean 
  4. Original full tanks must be removed and placed in back seat area
  5. All batteries must be moved in the drivers compartment ( 2 battery maximum)
  6. Car must have a seat belt and working brakes at all times 
  7. You will have two times threw tech if on your second attempt you did not meet satisfaction to what the inspectors wanted you will be loaded and no refund will be issued ( as our job of inspections we will make sure it is clear and understandable of what we want done so there shouldn’t be any questions or miss understanding)

Frames 

  1. Frames must be 100 percent stock absolutely no welding anywhere will be permitted unless otherwise stated 
  2. Frames must remain factory length no shortening of front or rear
  3. No seam welding even where factory missed 
  4. If car is pre ran you are allowed 4- 4x4” ¼” square plates (2 per rail) 
  5. No plates on fresh cars 
  6. No tilting cold bending or any kind of frame work
  7. You may notch or dimple cars in one location in the rear 
  8. Sway bar must be 100% factory mounts 
  9. 03 and newer ford Mercurys and Lincoln's must run the factory aluminum cradle see engine mounting rules for motor details (motor/trans rule number 5)

Bumpers 

  1. Any factory bumpers may be loaded and seam welded 
  2. I understand bumpers are hard to find and expensive  so i will be allowing a smith metal works or similar or may use 4x4x1/4 tube must remain flat tube no points are allowed 
  3. Bumpers may be welded on with  a ⅜ bead of weld if welding bumper on you must remove bumper shock completely and frame must remain factory length abuse this and you will not run)
  4. You will be allowed a 6x6 plate welded to end of the frame to make a flat welding surface must be between bumper and frame 
  5. Bumpers must be welded to end of the frame and may not be slid over frame rails 
  6. If you decide to keep your shock you may collapse the shock and weld around the collapse part but no welding shock to the frame it must be as factory intended 
  7. No switching bumper shock mounts must be factory to the car you are running 
  8. Must run bracket in factory location no moving brackets 

Body 

  1. No body modifications must be stock( of course you must still strip it) unless otherwise stated 
  2. No changing of body mounts must remain factory zero modifications 
  3. Driver door and driver door only may be welded solid, all other doors May be wired chained or welded one of the three if wired or chained 8 spots per door can not be wrapped around the frame. if welded May have 3-3x3 ⅛ in plates per door 
  4. Rear quarters must remain factory height  
  5. Trunks must remain factory and above rain channels may do a simple tuck but may not be attached to the floor in anyway may weld,wire,and chain trunk if welded must be done with 6 plates total 3x5x ¼ max if wired or chained may do 8 spots total sheet metal to sheet metal only 
  6. Hoods must have a minimum 12x12 hole in it for fires 
  7. Hoods may be secured one of the following options option 1 may wire or chain in 8 spots total sheet metal to sheet metal only option 2 may weld angle to hood and fender in 6 spots 2x2 angle max with one ⅜ bolt max with a standard ⅜ bolt 
  8. No chain or wire may go to frame or bumper 
  9. You are allowed to crease your car but quarters must remain factory height no folding of the quarters over  
  10. You may have a front window bar 2x2 max or 3in wide plate can only be mounted 6 inches on roof firewall may not touch roll bar 
  11. In the rear window you may run 1 double strand of 9 wire from roof to speaker deck or may use ⅜ chain may only be bolted all links must be free floating  

Cage

  1. A 4 point cage and halo bar  is highly recommend but is optional 
  2. Cage cannot be in the doors 
  3. your dash bar must be 5 in off the firewall and 5 in off the trans tunnel your rear seat bar may not be any farther back then where the rear kick panel meets the floor (where the front of the back seat would be located) 
  4. May have a center bar must be 5in off all parts of the floor sheet metal 
  5. NO DOWN BARS will be allowed no not even the ones that only weld to the sheet metal 
  6. Hallo bars are allowed must be straight up and down and connect  to rear seat or side bars it may not be connected to the roof 
  7. If your gas tank is not mounted to the floor you may build a gas tank holder coming off back seat bar but may not be attached and must have a gap between gas tank holder  and sheet metal
  8. You can have guessests in corners of the cage; you cannot run bars from your halo to the gas tank protector. 

Suspension 

  1. No aftermarket or modified spindles allowed must be a factory car spindle 
  2. No aftermarket hubs must be oem you may turn the factory rotor down only 
  3. No aftermarket ball joints oem only  
  4. No aftermarket or modified  tie rods must remain factory 
  5. You may lock front suspension by welding a 2x2 ¼ strap to front side of a arm one plate per upper a arm only 
  6. Nothing can be welded from lower a arm to frame 
  7. Strut or spring spacers will be allowed 
  8. Steering column may be changed to an aftermarket
  9. May run any factory appering 5 lug rear no axle savers or any type of brace may weld trailing on brackets to make fit in other models but must be done as factory attend ( example ford 9in in a crown vic)
  10. pinion breaks allowed 
  11. All control arms must be stock 
  12. May length or shorten control arms but can only overlap 2 inches
  13. If running a watts conversion must be done as factory intended upper mounts must be two pieces and bolt to package tray only no welding and must be 3inches from frame rail under inside of hump lower bracket must be no bigger than 3x3x ¼   
  14. Coils may be wired to rear end only 
  15. Factory leaf springs only can not altair in anyway may use 6 aftermarket clamps (3 per side ) 3in long 2in wide and 5/16 bolt max  
  16. No coil to leaf conversions 
  17. You may set your rear height by chaining it down chains can not be welded and can only wrap around frame in one location on each side max ⅜ chain 
  18. Nothing can be ran from frame rail to frame rail 
  19. No all thread shocks must be factory shocks
  20. 03 and newer fords,mercurys,and lincolns must use the factory rack and pinion oem only no truck racks and no hydro steering  
  21. 03 and newer may run 80 ford spindles only all other suspension parts must remain the OEM part that come with the 03 and newer ford,mercury,lincolns. also must run the factory tie rods. 
  22. May run aftermarket steering column 

Tires 

  1. Any tire may be used must be no bigger than 16 inches 
  2. Must use a factory rim  
  3. No bead protectors no lip protectors no full centers  no valve stem protectors 
  4. You will be allowed a small multi lug center  (7in) 

Motor/trans 

  1. May run any motor and transmission combination 
  2. Motor mounts must have some type rubber bushing can be aftermarket  
  3. May have two engine chains one on each side of the motor may only weld to engine crossmember or side rails only one link may be weld all others must be free floating ⅜ chain max
  4. No distributor protectors transmission braces coil pack protectors no mid plates  no protectors in general 
  5. No lower cradles 
  6. 03 and newers Engine Mounting rule you may use a cradle like grey area or budde cradle or you can grab your own. Still must use a stock style rubber mount. The cradles are allowed to attach with one bolt through each aluminum tower, no other attachment points and must remain ½ inch off the side rail. Repair plates may not be used to tie cradles into the rails ( no smw or catskill 03 mounts in this class) call for any questions   
  7. Stock transmission cases only no aftermarket bells or tails oem only 
  8. Transmission cross members must be factory to car and mounted in factory location with a oem mount no chains allowed trans 
  9. Trans coolers are permitted but must be mounted in drivers compartment and must use appropriate lines ( hydraulic hoses are highly recommended) 
  10. You may run aftermarket shifter 
  11. Any metal fuel cells permitted or boat tanks if its a plastic tank it must be in some type of  metal structure   (we all have families that need us this rule is the most important and will be enforced no matter the outcome ) 
  12. Headers will be allowed 

 

2023 Compact Truck, Suv, and Van

General rules/ car preparations

  1. Any factory 2 or 4 wheel drive truck,suv, and van with 4,6 or 8 cylinder
  2. No full size vans no ½ ton or ¾ ton trucks no suburbans or full size broncos or full size blazers  or the 80s dodge raiders ram chargers etc 
  3. Only v8 a that’s allowed in this class will be ford explorers, jeeps , Durango, dakotas,  
  4. Motor must be same make (ford to ford chevy to chevy ) etc
  5. If 4 wheel drive one of the drive shafts need to be removed or axles 
  6. Cars  Must be complete stripped clean no trim interior or any other flammable materials must be removed prior to the show 
  7. All glass must be removed and swept clean

Frame  

  1. Frames must be stock no welding unless otherwise stated 
  2. No seams may be welded 
  3. Frames can be shortened to core support
  4. All frame holes must remain open 
  5. 4 fix it plates on pre ran or fresh vehicles (4x4 ¼ square plates)

Body 

  1. All body bolts must remain factory only bolts allowed to be changed is the front core support and can be ¾ in all thread and may run thru hood but must have minimum 1 inch gap 
  2. Drivers door may be welded solid all other doors can be welded with the 5 on 5 method (put a plate skip 5 inches put other plate) or may use chain or 9 wire 
  3. Tops of doors may not be welded 
  4. Bed sides on trucks need to stay at factory height 
  5. Bed sides may be welded to cab in 2 locations 3x3x1/4 
  6. Tailgates may be welded with total of 6 plates or may use 8 spots of chain and 9 wire sheet metal to sheet metal must pick one way not both 
  7. Hoods may be bolted down with a total of 6 spots two of the spots being the threaded rod running threw core support the other two spots may be 2x2 angle 4 inch long with ⅜ bolt max or you may have chain or 9 wire 
  8. All hoods must have a 12x12 hole for fires may be bolted back with 4 ⅜ bolts 

Cage 

  1. A 4 point cage and halo bar  is highly recommend 
  2. your dash bar must be 5 in off the firewall and 5 in off the trans tunnel your rear seat bar may not be any farther back then where the rear kick panel meets the floor (where the front of the back seat would be located) 
  3. May have a center bar must be 5in off all parts of the floor sheet metal 
  4. NO DOWN BARS will be allowed no not even the ones that only weld to the sheet metal ( only a 2x2 ¼ down bar may be ran on drivers door must be centered in sidebar and may only weld to sheet metal only) 
  5. Hallo bars are allowed must be straight up and down and connect  to rear seat or side bars it also may be connected to the roof in two locations only with 3 in long 2x2 angel with a ½ in bolt maximum 
  6. You will be allowed a gas tank protector 32in wide maximum it will be allowed to touch the package tray only can be bolted or welded if you build a halo over the back half of your tank it can not be attached to roof 
  7. You can have guessests in corners of the cage

Suspension 

  1. Must be all factory components no aftermarket spindles or ball joints must be all OEM parts if using a weld in style ball joint it must have limited fabrication done (don’t get crazy with a welder  and you won’t have to get crazy w cutting)
  2. No aftermarket springs  
  3. No ball joint protector
  4. May use aftermarket steering columns 
  5. No Aftermarket tie rods will be allowed may brace factory ones only 
  6. You may lock front suspension you may weld strut or use a 2x4 ¼ plate front and back side of a arm
  7. You may run 1in all thread in place of the shock 3in washer max non welded no nuts or washers allowed inside of coil pocket one nut and washer on top and same on bottom 
  8. Trucks Must use factory rears and can not be attached to frame other then where factory intended you may have solid suspension in the rear and May use all thread shocks in rear car does not have to bounce
  9. no coil to leaf conversion  
  10. Factory leaf spring vehicles with factory leafs  may have 4 total clamps on each leaf ( 2in wide 4 in long 5/16 bolt do not put tape around leafs)
  11. You may wire or weld your coil springs to rear do not weld springs to frame in anyway 
  12. Any tires will be permitted black and round 
  13. You may have full center rims and a valve stem protector, lip guard protector can only be 1in wide will be allowed bead locks will be permitted

Bumpers 

  1. Any car bumpers will be allowed may be loaded you may choose to fabricate your own bumper must be in following guidelines 8x8 tube u may have a point must expand over 32 in of front and can only stick out 4 in from front edge of  the tube  ( so from the point to back of bumper has to be 12 inches in total length) 
  2. Factory replica bumpers will be allowed 
  3. Rear bumpers must remain factory you may seam weld bumpers but no metal may be added (smw or dec or a standard 4x41/4  tube may be used bumpers may be used)
  4. Front Bumpers may be welded on but may only use one of the following options. Option number 1 use the factory bracket that came with your car option number 2 you may hard nose your bumper and run a 4inch wide  ⅜ flat plate ( notice flat no teepee plates angel plates flat only) 12in long bumper shock welded to the side of the frame facing towards tire and can only have ⅜ bead of weld around outside surface ( 12in means 12in from back of the bumper so anything pass that 12 in mark will be completely removed and remember your 4x4 ¼  plate have to remain 1 in away from bumper shock)  
  5. Rear bumpers may be welded on with a and may have a 12in rear bumper bracket 
  6. If using factory shock it can only be welded or bolted with in the first 4 inches 
  7. Front bumper may be no higher than 22in to bottom of bumper and rear bumper may be no lower than 14in
  8. You may 9 wire two spots from core support to front bumper may not go around hood core support only 2 strands maximum no 9 wire from trunk to rear bumper 

Motor and trans 

  1. 4,6 and 8 cylinders must be same make and model ford to ford chevy to chevy etc  
  2. Must run same motor that comes in your model you can not put a v8 in a 4 or 6 cylinder body 
  3. Motor mounts may be changed to 2x2 tube max and must mount as factory intended 
  4. no distributor protectors no coil or engine cradles in general
  5. No trans braces will be allowed
  6. Trans mounts must be factory you may chain trans around the mount
  7. Trans and oil coolers are permitted but must be mounted in drivers compartment and must use appropriate lines ( hydraulic hoses are highly recommended) 
  8. Any metal fuel cells permitted or boat tanks if its a plastic tank it must be in some type of  metal structure   (we all have families that need us this rule is the most important and will be enforced no matter the outcome ) 
  9. If tank is in front of rear axle you may leave it there and must have a skid plate 
  10. All fuel lines need to be doubled clamped
  11. May have two engine chains one on each side of the motor may only weld to engine crossmember not to side rails only one link may be weld all others must be free floating ⅜ chain max

10K COMPACT RULES  4&6 CYL

*This is Basic stock build with light modifications. Anything that not listed in the rules below I wouldn’t recommend doing.

GENERAL

  1. FRONT WHEEL DRIVE CARS ONLY
  2. Wheelbase MAX is 110.5
  3. All Drivers MUST attend Drivers Meeting
  4. Drivers ONLY allowed in the inspection
  5. CARS THAT HAVE FAILED TECH ON THE FIRST TRY WILL ONLY GET ONE MORE CHANCE TO PASS ON TECH!!! IF YOU FAIL A SECOND TIME YOU WILL NOT RUN AND MONEY WILL NOT BE REFOUNDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6.  All cars MUST be completely strip/ gutted of all plastic and glass and interior, also must be vacuum cleaned don’t want broken glass inside 
  7. All Cars must have a roof sign
  8. Must have working brakes at all times or the car DOESN’T Compete
  9. Safety – DOT or Snell helmet , Must wear EYE protection, Pants and Long sleeves. If helmet comes off during the event you will be DISQUALIFIED!!!!!!
  10.  You will have two times threw tech if on your second attempt you did not meet satisfaction to what the inspectors wanted you will be loaded and no refund will be issued ( as our job of inspections we will make sure it is clear and understandable of what we want done so there shouldn’t be any questions or miss understanding)
  11. We will be teaching cars Friday May 22 4-8 pm and tech will Start Saturday morning at 8am
  12.  All cars must be threw first round inspection by 2:00 pm no exceptions

      Inspection will close at 3:00 no exceptions ( so if you plan to weld a lot then and go over the rules be sure you plan to tech early be responsible)

  1. Cars that pass Friday night will be impounded until 8 am Saturday after they are released they will go straight to the line up ( if you fail to do so you will be required to go threw tech all over)
  2. Drivers only in tech no one else is allowed   ( we will give you a piece of paper with everything written down for you to take back with you to show your crew) must have paper with you for re tech
  3. After your heat if you make it to finals or consi you will be allowed 9 wire only to fix your cars only thing that can be welded back on is your bumper if it falls off
  4. All rules are to the interpretation to the officials ( if unsure of a rules call or text to get clarification so you understand what we want)
  5. All judge’s decision are final

ALL OFFICAILS DECISIONS ARE FINALLY

THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO RECHECK YOUR CAR AT ANY TIME THEY FIND SOMETHING ADD OR REWELDED AFTER THE INSPECTIONS YOU WILL BE ASK TO LOAD UP A LEAVE WITH NO REFUND OF THE EVENT

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

  1. Any 4cyl or 6cyl engine..   NO PROTECTORS
  2. Motor and Transmission mounts MUST be stock!!!!! Can run a 3/8 chain but can not be welded must be bolted and can not reinforce the car in anyway
  3. Radiator must remain in stock location….. you may choose to either ran one, loop lines, or no radiator…… No water barrels

BUMPERS

  1. Any factory OEM bumper allowed.
  2. SMW & DEC bumpers allowed
  1. Home made bumpers can be no larger than 4X4 ¼ thick and NO points must stay flat!!!!! Ends must be left open
  2. 10” Bumper shock maybe welded on the OUT SIDE of the frame rails ONLY Nothing inside the FRAME 2”X2” MAX SIZE
  3. Mounting Bumper you may HARDNOSE you can cut the crush box off but CAN’T move the core support… can weld a flat piece of 6”x6” ¼ “ to the end of the frame to mount the bumper too…..

FRAMES

  1.  REMAINS STOCK
  2. No WELDING THE K FRAMES TO THE BODY
  3. No Seam Welding
  4. All CARS ALLOWED (2) 4x4 INCH PLATES ¼ INCH PUT ANYWHERE THEY LIKE!!!
  5. Body mount must remain Stock
  6. No Pinning, Plating or Pinching
  7. Rear Frames may be notched or dimpled

SUSPENSION

  1. OEM suspension parts NO reinforcing or adding. NO AFTERMARKET OR HOME MADE TIRE RODS OR STRUTS
  2. You may Lock the FRONT suspension ONLY by Welding the shock shaft or clamping it!!!!!!!!!

CAGES

  1. Four point cage with halo bar is recommended but

NOT mandatory

  1. MUST have a bar be hide the Driver seat
  2. Must  have ONE FRONT Window bar, cable, or nine wire
  3. MAX width of cage bars are 4”x4” or 2”x6” door bars can not extend back more than 8” on front door seam
  4. MUST be 5” from fire wall and floor
  5. 24” Gas Tank Protector…… IT MAY TOUCH SPEAKER DECK BUT CAN NOT BE WELDED OR BOLTED
  6. NO down legs or kickers
  7. If you run a bolt in cage and it has down legs THERE MUST BE A ONE INCH GAP BETWEEN THE FLOOR AND BOTTOM OF LEG
  8.  Back Window bar MAX 2”x2” mounted by 3” on roof and 3” on trunk lid

BODY

  1. Drivers door May be welded solid and may run a door skin or bar that doesn’t expand more than four inches past door seams
  2. All  other doors maybe welded with 3”x3” door strap four piece per door or chained or nine wired
  3. Trunk may be welded with 3”x3” strap in four places
  4. Hood can be fasten down in 6 spots with chain, wire or bolts 3/8” Max size with 2”x2” angle iron…… NO ALL THREAD THROUGH CORE SUPPORT TO HOLD DOWN HOOD!!!!!!
  1. Hood MUST have a 12”x12” hole
  2. Fenders can be creased
  3. ONE BATTERY can be used Must be located inside the car
  4. NO STOCK GAS TANKS UNDER THE CAR!!!!!
  5. Gas tanks or Fuel cells inside the car MUST have two clamps on all fuel lines from the tank and Fuel pump

TIRES & WHEELS

  1. Front tires – ANY TIRE
  2. Rear tires – Can run Solid fork lift
  3. NO STUDDED TIRES
  4. Can run half welded in centers
  5. NO FULL CENTERS, BEADLOCKS OR LIP PROTECORS
  6. ALL WHEEL WEIGHTS MUCH BE REMOVED
